Jules Göthe Ultimus Mauritzson was born in Sweden and immigrated to the United States in 1895. Sven Gustaf Youngert immigrated to the United States from Sweden in 1886 at the age of 25. He studied at Augustana College and Theological Seminary for six years, until he was ordained as a minister in 1892.
