Scope and Contents
The Augustana College 50th Anniversary Jubilee series, 1908-1910, commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1860 founding of Augustana College in Chicago, Illinois. The series includes mostly newspaper articles about the Jubilee celebration, Jubilee events, and Augustana College history in honor of its 50th Anniversary. In addition, this series includes a speech about Augustana College history in honor of its 50th Anniversary, a Jubilee commencement week program, and a blue ribbon pin commemorating the anniversary. Also included is a notebook containing the minutes of the committee on arrangements for the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary.
