Study abroad reunion correspondence, 2013
Scope and Contents
The Collection on Augustana College study abroad programs primarily includes printed email correspondence between Special Collections Librarian Sarah Horowitz and Augustana College alumni who participated in various study abroad programs. These emails often include reproductions of photographs from alumni's trips. The two most common trips recounted were Asian and European terms. Asian terms included China, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, and the Philippines. European terms included England, France, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Germany, and Austria. Program dates detailed in correspondence range from the 1960s to the early 2010s.
Also included are five postcards from Melissa McGaughey Roselle's '93 time studying in Europe as a student. Postcards were sent from England, Italy, Germany, and Austria. Three oral histories are present with Lee Ann Wille '74, Kathryn Storm '77, and Todd Begatelas '83.
