Account books, 1902-1937

The Siboney Bay Camp Number 8, Rock Island, Illinois, records consist of four volumes and their enclosures. These volumes are organized into two series. The Meeting minutes series, 1902-1913 and 1930-1938, includes minutes of the group’s monthly meetings, resolutions, information related to the election of officers. These records are apparently incomplete, with a gap in documentation from 1914 to 1929. The Account books series, 1902-1937, contains listings for individual members and their financial accounts, including dues and reimbursements owed, and expenditures and fundraisers for the chapter itself. Also included is a folder of enclosures from the volumes, including copies of resolutions, pension information, and chapter members’ obituaries.
