Collection on Swedish royal visits

This collection documents Swedish royalty and their visits to the Augustana College campus and the Quad Cities area. Materials in this collection include a facsimile of a Swedish Royal Autographs collection, scrapbooks, news clippings, invitations, programs, announcements, press releases, journal articles, programs, a speech (in Swedish and English), a book, magazines, booklets, correspondence, pamphlets, newsletters, and brochures. The Swedish Royal Autograph collection with a letter of presentation dated March 10, 1944, signed Gustav V, is published in facsimile from the originals in the State Archives and the Royal Library under the patronage of his Majesty Gustav V, King of Sweden, 1907-1950, for the benefit of the Royal Fund for Humanitarian Relief Stockholm, 1946.
