Abstract

Also known as the Swedish Society of Belles Lettres, Svenska Vitterhetssallskapet was a literary society created in 1897. The purpose of the society was to encourage and maintain interest in Swedish literature and culture. The membership was limited to 18. This collection consists of materials in Swedish, including meeting minutes and copies of two newsletters: the Runan and the Tomten.
