Historical Note
The Beta Omega Sigma social club (fraternity) was founded at Augustana College 10 December 1929. The organization is known as the “BOS." The fraternity's purpose is to promote fellowship and to foster a friendly spirit deeper and more lasting than that which can be obtained through academics or other school activities.

Abstract
The Beta Omega Sigma social club (fraternity) was founded at Augustana College 10 December 1929. The organization is known as the “BOS." The Beta Omega Sigma records include fraternity meeting minutes, information about fraternity events, photographs, a fraternity newsletter, and an Augustana Observer article about a fraternity member.
Custodial History
The Beta Omega Sigma Minutes were collected by Fred Rolf and donated to Special Collections by Robert Maurus in 1989. Maurus may also have donated the newest items in the Events series. Photographs were donated by Hugh Johnson and Michael Piff in 2009. Pledge materials were donated by Chad Populorum in May 2018. A pledge paddle (originally belonging to Curtis C. Roseman) was donated by Elizabeth Roseman in 2022.
