The Augustana College Special Collections local history collection was compiled over the course of several decades by Special Collections staff. Abstract
Richard V. Lohrens is a former student of Augustana College. Lohrens was a member of the military in World War II. He enrolled in Augustana College in 1949. Lohrens joined the Phi Omega Phi (or “Pops”) fraternity the same year. Lohrens graduated as a member of the class of 1953. This slide collection documents the 1965 flood of the Mississippi River in Davenport. There are descriptions on the back of each slide.
