Abstract The Milo Culture Club was founded at Augustana College and Theological Seminary 16 October 1902 as an outgrowth of the Milo and La Calcirora gymnastics clubs. It was a coeducational group whose purpose was to "promote culture in general" among its members, and its motto was "More Improvement, Life's Object." his collection consists of a single item: the Milo Culture Club constitution. Abstract Clarence Woodrow Sorensen, the sixth president of Augustana College, was born in Nebraska in 1907. He studied and traveled all over the world, producing fifteen books about his geographical studies, before coming to Augustana College.
