Abstract Jane Tiedge was a non-traditional student at Augustana College in the mid-1990s who became a staff member in the Office of International Programs. She was encouraged in her studies in history and religion by professor Ross Paulson. Tiedge's research as a student and later as an independent scholar focused primarily on Sister Ingeborg Nystul, a Lutheran missionary to China. Abstract Harriet Rachel Wheeler was born on 23 June 1903 in Davenport, Iowa. She attended Cornell College before enrolling at Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois in September 1924. Wheeler was a member of the Woman's Club, and was often on the honor roll. She graduated in 1927 with an A.B. in History. Abstract

Bernard Y. Wickstrom was a student at Augustana College from 1947 until 1950. He was an editor for the Augustana Observer, president of the Augustana chapter of the Alpha Delta Journalistic Fraternity, and a "Poobah." The Bernard Wickstrom papers, 1948-1950 and undated, contains photographs, clippings, and artwork, largely related to Wickstrom's membership in the Phi Omega Phi (POP) fraternity.
