Abstract Ken Brink (1913-2001) was a lifelong resident of Moline and spent his professional life as a cost accountant at John Deere. He was an active member of Plymouth Congregational Church, where his father was the minister, until the church dissolved. Brink then became a member of First Congregational Church, where he continued to be an active member of the congregation and the church choir. Abstract

Jean Schilling was a longtime member of the Black Hawk Hiking Club. She attended over 25 of the club's annual "Big Hikes," which were conducted throughout the United States and Canada. The Jean Schilling scrapbooks, 1975-2003, contains scrapbooks compiled by Schilling, mostly containing her own photographs of the Black Hawk Hiking Club’s annual Big Hikes.
