Scope and Contents
The Anna Marian Williams papers consists of two folders of material. Class notes, 1927 and undated, contains Williams's notebooks for Elements of Logic and English 22, both taught by Dr. Edward Fry Bartholomew. Enclosures, 1927-1983 and undated, contains loose papers and clippings from the notebooks, including a 1928 copy of the Augustana Bulletin with Williams's picture; undated notes on the Roosevelt Outing Club; a copy of a 1959 article by Rock Island superintendent of schools Earl R. Hanson; undated handwritten copies of several poems; programs from various performances on Augustana's campus, 1927-1929; a 1983 letter from professor Ann Boaden requesting help in compiling a history of the Roosevelt Outing Club; and photographs, including a series of photographs removed from a scrapbook, 1928, of the Roosevelt Outing Club and the places it visited, a geology class and unidentified class field trip, campus buildings, a groundhog in a cage, and a train station, 1983.
