Scope and Contents
The Seminar on Space Exploration collection, 1972, consists of a photograph album, three copies of a commemorative program, a photograph of Neil Armstrong and audio recordings of the seminars. The photograph album includes snapshots of the presenters during the seminar and the moon rock exhibit at the John Deere Planetarium. The commemorative program includes transcripts of the talks given and photographs of the seminar proceedings and the presenters. The collection also includes audio recordings of each lecture, originally captured on 1/4" open reel audiotape.
