Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The Bernard Wickstrom papers, 1948-1950 and undated, contains photographs, clippings, and artwork, largely related to Wickstrom's membership in the Phi Omega Phi (POP) fraternity. The collection has been arranged into four series.

The Newspaper Articles series contains three 1950 articles from the Rock Island Argus noting Wickstrom's awards from both SAGA and the Augustana Writers' Club and his participation in an Augustana News Society awards ceremony. The Artwork series consists of a cut-and-paste drawing of the Old Main tower signed by Bernard Wickstrom. The Phi Omega Phi Fraternity series contains captioned photographs from a POP scrapbook (1948-1950) and a roster of POP members in 1950. The Photographs series (1949-1950 and undated) contains photographs of Wickstrom, campus events, and unidentified students, as well as photographs of POP fraternity functions, including two "informals."
