Scope and Contents
The History subseries, 1908-1922 and undated, consists of images pertaining to Hauberg's grandfather, John Detlev Hauberg, and the childhood of his father, Marx Detlev Hauberg. Included are images of John Detlev's land deed for the site of his original cabin and his indenture papers, as well as images of sites where Marx worked as a boy. There are images of some family heirlooms that John Detlev brought with him from Germany. There is also a reproduction of a patent for a dishwashing machine invented by Hauberg's sister, Anna. Originals of the documents reproduced in this series can be found elsewhere in Hauberg’s papers.
