The 1923 Big Hike took the Black Hawk Hiking Club to Oregon, Illinois; Lake Geneva, Fond du Lac, Keshena Falls, Madison, and Mendota in Wisconsin; and Portage Lake, Lake Superior, Eagle River, and Devil's Lake in Michigan.
