In 1937, the Black Hawk Hiking Club traveled south to Jefferson and Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri; Austin, Laredo, and Corpus Christi in Texas; Mamalique Pass, Monterrey, Guayalejo River, Rio Frio, Tamazunchale, Jacula, Zimipan, Teotihuacan, Huejotzingo, Puebla, Mexico City, the Popocatepetl Mountains, Cuernavaca, Tasco, and Acapulco in Mexico; Texarkana, Lousiana; and Quapaw Baths, Arkansas.
