F-0027/2: Mr. Rausch (taught machine shop at RIHS)
Dates
- Creation: 1929
Summary
The first segment of this film was captured from a docked steamboat looking at a large group of trees across a river [the Mississippi?]. A young man in sunglasses [Mr. Rausch?] can be seen preparing the boat for launch and later piloting the boat. The camera captures footage from the boat while in motion. Susanne Denkmann Hauberg and roughly ten other passengers can be seen on the boat. As the boat prepares to land, a family waves from the shore. A number of passengers (including Susanne and John Hauberg, who is operating the camera) disembark and watch the boat depart. Silent. Runtime: 00:02:02. From MSS 27 John Henry Hauberg papers.
