Abstract
James McLure was a landowner in Pennsylvania in the late 18th century. This collection consists of a deed for the purchase of land in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, signed by Peter Muhlenberg, Vice President of the Supreme Executive Council of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, 25 September 1888. The document was signed only two weeks before Muhlenberg vacated his post under mysterious circumstances (and without notice to the Council) in early October 1888.
