Victor R. Pearson papers
Abstract
Victor R. Pearson was a student and professor of Augustana College. Pearson was born in Nebraska in 1892. He was a member of the Augustana College class of 1915 and the Augustana Seminary class of 1917. He served in World War I as an infantry chaplain. Pearson returned to Augustana and earned his doctorate from the seminary in 1924. He returned to Augustana College to teach religion and philosophy in 1935, from which he retired in 1960. His papers include notes for his courses, a WGN radio schedule, and various religious education pamphlets.
