E.P. Reynolds, Saulpaugh, & Co. account ledger
Abstract
The E.P. Reynolds, Saulpaugh, & Co. account ledger contains purchases and credits for the years 1859-1860, as well as balance sheets. The company was founded in Rock Island in 1858 for the purpose of taking contracts and furnishing men to harvest lumber for railroad ties from pine forests in the northern United States. The names of several prominent Rock Island citizens appear in the ledger.
