Bror Carlson manuscript

 Collection
Identifier: MSS 146

Abstract

Bror Carlson was a Swedish pastor who researched the life of Olof Olsson. Carlsson compiled a manuscript of several hundred pages before his death in 1967. His son, Alf Brorson, edited the manuscript into a 63-page book in 1984. He donated the original manuscript and the published book to the college. Conrad Bergendoff then donated the materials, along with his notes and some correspondence, to the archives. Materials in this collection include a photocopy of Carlson’s typewritten manuscript, “Jag Sokte icke Mitt” (I did not seek for myself), correspondence (mostly between Conrad Bergendoff and Alf Brorson), a newsletter, photocopies of news clippings, and a printed copy of Carlson’s manuscript.
