Abstract

George Fridolph Hall is an Augustana College graduate. During his time at Augustana, he was a member of the band and the Observer staff. Hall became a professor at several colleges, including Bethany College, Gustavus Adolphus College, DePaul University, and the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He did missionary work in Marangu, Tanganyika, and he was also a chaplain at the Swedish Retirement Home in Evanston, Illinois. Hall died in 2000. This collection consists of Hall’s draft of “The Missionary Spirit in the Augustana Church.”
