Abstract
The Association of Lutheran Faculties is an organization composed of faculty members of Lutheran colleges in the United States and Canada. Membership, though, is not limited to faculty of Lutheran institutions, the group is also open to Lutheran faculty members of non-Lutheran institutions. The purpose of this Association is to bring together the faculty members of institutions of higher learning in an effort to provide Christian fellowship and an outlet for discussion of issues relating to Christian higher education. This collection contains a range of documents from the Office of the President, the Office of the Secretary, and the Office of the Treasurer dating between 1964 and 1984. These include reports, the group constitution, correspondences, and banking records. There are also documents pertinent to the Lutheran Educational Conference of North America dating between 1977 and 1984. Copies of the Association of Lutheran College Faculties Journal, from the years 1948 through 1958, and the year 1961, are also contained in this collection.
