Historical Note
The Udden Geology Club was founded in 1933 and is named in memory of Dr. J.A. Udden, an Augustana graduate of 1911 and later professor of biology and geology. The club sponsors geology-related lectures, projects, and activities as well as a field trip at the end of each term. Past field trip destinations include Devils Lake in Wisconsin, Ozark Mountains in Missouri, iron and copper districts of Lake Superior, and lead and zinc districts of Oklahoma.
