Abstract Betsey Brodahl was born and raised in Wahoo, Nebraska, where she attended grade school and high school and one year at Luther College. Upon the urging of two instructors at Luther College, Brodahl applied at Augustana College to continue her college education. She was accepted, and graduated with a B. A. in history in 1944. Abstract Philip Wm. McKinley was born 22 June 1952 to William and Virginia McKinley of Avon, Illinois. He graduated from Avon High School in 1970. McKinley attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, where he participated as an actor and a choreographer in Augustana’s theater program and the Barn Theater, a community group in Moline, Illinois, near Augustana College. Materials in The Vagina Monologues records, 2003-2017, relate to Augustana College's inaugural production of Eve Ensler's controversial play, The Vagina Monologues. Papers include correspondence and publicity produced by members of the campus community who were involved in the production.
