Ronald Jesson about the Augustana Choir by Doyle Evans / Betty Bell as interviewed by Patty McKinney [audiocassette], undated
Scope and Contents
The interviews series, 1976-1995 and undated, contains recorded interviews with various significant individuals in the Augustana and Quad City communities. Interviewees include a number of Augustana faculty and staff, such as Betsey Brodahl, Thomas Tredway, Conrad Bergendoff, Pastor Richard "Swanie" Swanson, Chad Meyer, Dorothy Parkander, Jack Hullett, and Roald Tweet. This series also includes an interview with several members of the Augustana Choir recalling the group's 1985 tour in Sweden, the story of the "Great Flood of 1965" as recalled by former Rock Island City Manager Raymond Botch, and an interview on the San Quentin Players' production of "Waiting for Godot" (probably with the group's director, Rick Cluchey), which was presented on Augustana's campus in 1977.
