The collection of Augustana College Athletics and Physical Education records, 1894-2024 and undated, includes meeting minutes and record books from several early athletic clubs, departmental records, sports schedules and brochures, athletic uniforms, and sketches of the Tribe of Vikings Hall of Fame inductees. It is divided into two series: Department of Physical Education and Athletics.

Abstract
Flavius J. Sten was born in St. Helens, Oregon. He attended the Augustana Academy for high school until 1911, when he entered Augustana College. He was involved in many organizations during his college career, most notably the basketball program. As a freshman, he was a forward on the varsity basketball team, a position he would hold until he graduated. He also coached the girls' basketball team.
