Abstract
Cora Santee was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 16 August 1916. From 1934 to 1937 she attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, where she sang in the Augustana Choir which was directed by Henry Veld from 1929 to1966. This collection consists of a scrapbook of Cora Santee’s experience in the Augustana College Choir, which includes programs, news clippings, cards, photographs, posters, and song lyrics.

Betsey Brodahl graduated from Augustana College in 1944. She returned to the school for a one-year appointment to teach history in 1947, but after being appointed Dean of Women that same year, she decided to remain at Augustana until her retirement in 1987. Jean Schilling was a longtime member of the Black Hawk Hiking Club. She attended over 25 of the club's annual "Big Hikes," which were conducted throughout the United States and Canada.
