Abstract

The Augustana College Class of 1968 collection, 1964-1970, 2018, includes an assortment of 1960s print ephemera brought by the class of 1968 members to their 50th anniversary reunion. Additional items include photographs as well as a flag flown over the the U.S. Capitol Building in honor of the 50th anniversary of the graduation of the Augustana College class of 1968.

Abstract

Richard V. Lohrens is a former student of Augustana College. Lohrens was a member of the military in World War II. He enrolled in Augustana College in 1949. Lohrens joined the Phi Omega Phi (or “Pops”) fraternity the same year. Lohrens graduated as a member of the class of 1953. This slide collection documents the 1965 flood of the Mississippi River in Davenport. There are descriptions on the back of each slide.
