Abstract
Esther Miriam Andreen was born on September 4, 1896 in New Haven, Connecticut to parents Gustav and Marie Andreen. Her father became the fourth president of Augustana College in 1901. Albrecht had two older brothers, Paul and Marion, and two younger, Gustav and Carl. She attended the Augustana Academy from 1908 to 1914, and enrolled at Augustana College in the fall of 1914, where she studied Modern Languages. Abstract
The Augustana College Class of 1968 collection, 1964-1970, 2018, includes an assortment of 1960s print ephemera brought by the class of 1968 members to their 50th anniversary reunion. Additional items include photographs as well as a flag flown over the the U.S. Capitol Building in honor of the 50th anniversary of the graduation of the Augustana College class of 1968.

Abstract
Esther Beck graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minnesota, in 1928 and later became a teacher and dean of women there. She married Rev. Dr. Victor E. Beck in 1941, with whom she moved to Rock Island, Illinois, in 1955. Esther served as a teacher and counselor in the Rock Island public schools between from 1955 until her retirement in 1970.
