Abstract

The materials from the Moretz and Stahl family collection of Augustana College materials include the personal possessions of Ethel Paulson Moretz, Helen Moretz Stahl, Richard "Dick" Stahl, and John Moretz (son of Ethel Paulson Moretz and brother of Helen Moretz Stahl). Covering a 67 year span, the materials in the Moretz and Stahl family collection are date from 1924 to 2013 and include documents, photographs, postcards, and memorabilia from family members' time at Augustana College.

Abstract Richard “Dick” Stahl was an Augustana College alumnus (Class of 1963), a high school teacher, and a poet. Stahl published several volumes of poetry, including After the Milk Route (1988), Under the Green Tree Hotel (1996), and Mr. Farnam's Guests (2004).
