Abstract
The Samuel Frederick Telleen photograph album contains photographs from S. Frederick Telleen's activities as a layperson in the Lutheran Church in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s as well as a photograph of the Augustana College Class of 1895 at their 50th reunion in 1945. Telleen attended Augustana College and Theological Seminary from 1892 to 1895, graduated with a Bachelor's degree, and became a banker and active member of the Lutheran Church in New York.

Jane Tiedge was a non-traditional student at Augustana College in the mid-1990s who became a staff member in the Office of International Programs. She was encouraged in her studies in history and religion by professor Ross Paulson. Tiedge's research as a student and later as an independent scholar focused primarily on Sister Ingeborg Nystul, a Lutheran missionary to China. Trinity Lutheran Church was founded in 1912 in Moline, Illinois, and continues to operate as of 2017. At the time of its founding, Trinity was one of the only English-speaking churches chartered with the Augustana Synod, a Swedish branch of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Johan August Udden was born in Sweden in 1859 and emigrated to America with his family at the age of 2. He attended St. Ansgar Academy in Minnesota from 1873-1876, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Augustana College in 1881. Henry Veld conducted various choral groups associated with Augustana College, including the Augustana College Choir and Handel Oratorio Society, in the mid-twentieth century.
