Overview Ingemar Larson was a professor of biology at Augustana College from 1966 to 1995. The Ingemar Larson papers, 1947-1997, contain pages from two scrapbooks created by Larson in honor of his retirement in 1995 and winning the Harold T. and Violet M. Jaeke Award in 1991.

Overview Dr. Theodor LeVander was a professor of speech at Augustana College in 1932 to 1977, specializing in the area of rhetoric and public address. During his time at Augustana he also taught in the homiletics department of the former Augustana Theological Seminary. Overview Henriette Christiane Koren Naeseth served as Head of the Department of English at Augustana College from 1936 until she retired in 1968. She was also chairman of the Division of Humanities starting in 1945. Overview Ira O. Nothstein served as the head librarian and archivist for Augustana College from 1918 to 1959. He was ordained by the Augustana Lutheran Church in Philadelphia after graduating from Mount Airy Lutheran Theological Seminary. Overview Margaret Olmsted joined the Augustana faculty in 1921. She was among one of the earliest female professors at the school. In 1937, she was named Associate Professor of Latin and Mathematics. She was known for her love of teaching, and often stressed the importance of studying foreign languages. After 46 years of teaching, she retired in 1967.
