Helen S. Collins scrapbook

Abstract Helen Collins was born in 1901 in the town of Wakefield, Nebraska. Her father, Henry Collins, was a prominent businessman in the area; her mother, Sophia Collins, was the daughter of the Salem Lutheran Church's founder. Helen was one of seven children her father hoped would all attend college; Helen and her sister Elsie selected Augustana. Robert Cooper collection on Theodore Celms

Abstract

Theodore Celms, Augustana College professor from 1949 to 1963 and 1967 to 1973, was one of the many scholars evacuated from Eastern Europe during World War II. The Robert Cooper collection on Theodore Celms consists of photocopies of several short biographical articles on Dr. Celms, including announcements about his death, and photocopies of Cooper's class notes from Celms's 1961 Philosophy of Culture course.

R. M. Coultas papers

Abstract Robert Maine Coultas was born on 24 November 1918 in Moline, Illinois. He did some undergraduate work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before graduating from Augustana College with a degree in music. Coultas enlisted in the United States Naval Reserve in 1942 and served in many different positions throughout the war, including tours of active duty in Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Pacific Theater. Tina Johnson Cranz autograph album

Abstract

Tina Johnson Cranz was a resident of Galesburg, Illinois, and a former student of Knox College's Female Seminary in the late 1880s. This collection consists of a single autograph album signed by friends and family members of Tina Johnson Cranz. The album is peppered throughout by entries and drawings created by Tina's daughter, Ellen Cranz, as a young girl.

Emily Envall Dahlberg papers

Abstract Emily Caroline Envall was born in Galesburg, Illinois, on 25 November 1869, the oldest child of John and Caroline Peterson Envall, recent immigrants from Sweden. She received less than seven years of formal education in the Galesburg public schools. On 10 January 1889 she entered the Augustana Conservatory of Music at Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois. Abstract

Arthur E. Danielson and Elmer Tragd lived in 111 5th Avenue in Moline in the early 1900s. Materials in this collection include a photocopy of a Moline city directory, photographs and photocopies of photographs, envelopes, an invitation to a dance, materials from the Columbian Correspondence College and the American School of Correspondence (Danielson may have been a student), and a letter to Tragd from an Edythe F. L of Geneseo, Illinois.

Delta Chi Theta records

The Delta Chi Theta sorority is a campus Greek group created in 1965. Materials in this collection include the original pledge book, photographs, a newspaper photograph clipping and photocopy of the original members of the sorority, a procedures document, blank award forms, and composite photographs. The original pledge book is restricted from general use to protect the privacy of the group, its traditions, and its members.

Delta Omega Nu records

The letterman jacket is restricted to active members and alumni.
