Abstract
Lenora Purdy was born 16 July 1912, to Edward Purdy, an employee of the Iowa Telephone Company, and his wife, Antoinette Blaser-Purdy. Lenora had one sister, Erma (1913-2002), and they both attended the Davenport public schools. These included Monroe School, West Intermediate School, and Davenport High School. Abstract
The Samuel Frederick Telleen photograph album contains photographs from S. Frederick Telleen's activities as a layperson in the Lutheran Church in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s as well as a photograph of the Augustana College Class of 1895 at their 50th reunion in 1945. Telleen attended Augustana College and Theological Seminary from 1892 to 1895, graduated with a Bachelor's degree, and became a banker and active member of the Lutheran Church in New York.

Abstract
L. E. Jones and J.E.W. Wallin were both Augustana College alumni. L.E. Jones corresponded frequently with Wallin under the auspices of the Augustana Alumni Association board and as alumni editor of the Augustana Observer. Their correspondence largely centers Wallin’s implorations to Jones to publish a bibliography of his work and Jones’s attempts to convince Wallin to contribute to the Observer.
