Collection of Augustana College and Theological Seminary class organizations records
The collection of Augustana College and Theological Seminary class organizations records contains the documents of several of Augustana College’s graduating classes. Documents in this collection are in both English and Swedish, including meeting minutes, financial records, cash books, receipts, correspondences, class history, memorabilia, and newspaper clippings for different graduating classes ranging from 1893 until 1929, with the class of 1907 history dating until 1953.
Augustana College and Theological Seminary religious organizations collection
The Augustana College and Theological Seminary Religious Organizations collection documents several student religous organizations and Bible societies from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Materials date from 1884 to 1937 and include meeting minutes and records for various religious organizations, including Augustana Theological Seminary groups, Augustana College Bible Societies, the Lutheran Brotherhood, the Luther League, and the Lutheran Student Association.
Collection of Augustana College Athletics and Physical Education records
The collection of Augustana College Athletics and Physical Education records, 1894-2020 and undated, includes meeting minutes and record books from several early athletic clubs, departmental records, sports schedules and brochures, athletic uniforms, and sketches of the Tribe of Vikings Hall of Fame inductees. It is divided into two series: Department of Physical Education and Athletics.
Augustana College audiovisual collection
The Augustana College audiovisual collection, 1930-2016 and undated, contains video recordings (including films, videotapes, and digital video) and audio recordings (including audiotapes, audiocassettes, and compact discs) related to Augustana College and the Quad City community. Recordings capture campus events, interviews with Augustana faculty and staff, promotional footage, musical performances, religious services, radio broadcasts, and other topics.
Augustana College Band records
The Augustana Concert Band is the oldest musical organization on campus, founded in 1874. Since its founding, the band has toured multiple times throughout the United States as well as in Europe, notably being one of the first American collegiate groups to travel through Europe in 1928. The Augustana College Band records, 1875-2013 and undated, consists of eight series: Programs, Minutes, Financial Records, Correspondence, Publicity, Other Bands, Video Recordings, and Sound Recordings.
Augustana College Board of Religious Activities records
The Augustana College Board of Religious Activities regulated campus religious activities. The collection includes a cash book, minutes, correspondence, reports, programs, and tracts.
Augustana College Board of Trustees records
The Augustana College Board of Directors (now called the Board of Trustees) is involved in major decisions about Augustana College. The collection includes minutes of the board and the executive committee.
Augustana College Bookstore Board records
The Augustana College Bookstore Board was formed to guide the operation of the newly created college bookstore. The members met to establish the bookstore, its employees, hours, types of materials, and other relevant issues. Materials in the collection include correspondence and meeting minutes.

Augustana College Campus Church records
The Augustana College Campus Church records contain materials on the religious activities of the campus. Augustana Campus Church was a student, faculty, and family congregation of the Lutheran Church in America (LCA). IT was led by Pastor Richard Swanson. In 1983 the campus church was replaced with a more contemporary campus ministries structure. The collection includes reports, minutes, bulletins, programs, announcements, news clippings, and an article about campus ministry.
