Alpha Phi Omega (APO) is a national co-ed service fraternity. Abstract The Augustana Choir was formed in 1931 under the direction of Henry Veld, who merged Augustana College's two choral groups, the Wennerberg Chorus and the Orioles, into one group. Augustana College Friendship Fair collection

The Friendship Fair had its origins in World War II, with the first official Friendship Fair being held in 1949. The annual carnival-style festival raised money to bring international students to Augustana and to send an Augustana student abroad for a year.
